Big Mac Salad
Ingredients:
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
• 1/4 cup red onion, diced
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1/4 cup sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
For the Big Mac Dressing:
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons ketchup
• 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
• 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
• 1 teaspoon white vinegar
• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked through. Drain any excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.
2. In a small bowl, mix together all dressing ingredients until well combined. Set aside or chill while assembling the salad.
3. In a large salad bowl, layer chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, pickles, red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese.
4. Add the slightly cooled ground beef on top.
5. Drizzle generously with the Big Mac dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds for that signature burger flavor.
6. Toss just before serving or serve deconstructed with dressing on the side.
