Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz cream cheese
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
8 oz penne or rotini pasta
1 ½ cups shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the Pasta:
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Veggies:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onions and bell pepper. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until soft and slightly caramelized. Add minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute.
Brown the Beef:
Add the ground beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add Cream Cheese and Flavorings:
Reduce heat to low. Stir in the cream cheese until fully melted and combined. Then add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes to thicken slightly.
Combine with Pasta:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat with the creamy beef mixture.
Melt the Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese over the top. Cover the skillet for a few minutes until the cheese melts. Stir gently to mix everything together.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your Philly Cheesesteak-inspired pasta dish!
