  • Ingredients:
  • 1 sleeve of saltine crackers (about 40 crackers)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for dusting)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer, covering the entire sheet.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly until the mixture is thick and bubbly.
  3. Immediately pour the butter and sugar mixture evenly over the arranged saltine crackers, spreading it with a spatula to cover all the crackers.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbly and caramelized.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately sprinkle the white chocolate chips evenly over the hot crackers. Let them sit for a few minutes to melt, then spread the melted chocolate evenly over the surface.
  6. Mix the granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle this cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the melted chocolate.
  7. Allow the candy to cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker setting. Once set, break into pieces and serve.
