Hungarian Tart Recipe
*125g butter
*2 tbsp cooking oil
*1 beaten egg
*2 tsp baking powder
*2 tbsp castor sugar
*1/2 tsp vanilla
*2 cups flour
*Jam for spreading
*Icing sugar for dusting
Instructions
*Cream butter and sugar. Add cooking oil and vanilla. Beat well.
*Stir in beaten egg.
*Add sifted flour and baking powder. Mix into a dough and knead well.
*Divide dough in two portions.
*Roll half the dough.
*Use a round cutter to cut circles and place into a greased non-stick mini cupcake tin, resembling tarts.
*Spoon a teaspoon of jam into each tart.
*Grate the remaining dough over the jam.
*Bake in a 180Β°C oven for 20-30 minutes, until slightly golden.
*Dust top with icing sugar while hot.
