Hot Fudge Brownie Bread

Rich, fudgy, and irresistibly chocolatey—this brownie bread is the perfect blend of a soft loaf and a decadent dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
  • ½ cup hot fudge sauce (plus more for drizzling)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat & Prep:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a standard loaf pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving extra on the sides for easy removal.
  2. Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Wet Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, stir the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine & Mix:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir just until combined—avoid overmixing to keep the bread tender.
  5. Add Chocolate & Fudge:
Fold in the chocolate chips. Gently swirl the hot fudge sauce through the batter for a marbled effect.
  6. Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter). If the top browns too quickly, loosely cover with foil during the last 10–15 minutes.
  7. Cool & Serve:
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then lift it out and cool completely on a wire rack. Before serving, drizzle warm hot fudge sauce on top for extra indulgence.

Optional Toppings:
Chopped walnuts, a pinch of sea salt, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream make the perfect finishing touch!
