Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Dry Ingredients
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly mixed and lump-free.
  2. Prepare the Wet Ingredients
    In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs. Then add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla essence. Mix until smooth.
  3. Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
    Gradually pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients. Stir gently until you get a smooth, well-blended batter—not too thick, not too runny.
  4. Prepare the Cake Tin
    Lightly grease a cake tin with butter and dust it with a little flour to prevent sticking.
  5. Pour the Batter
    Pour the brownie batter into the prepared tin and spread it evenly.
  6. Preheat and Bake
    Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes.
    Place the cake tin in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes. To check if it’s done, insert a toothpick into the center—if it comes out clean, it’s ready!
