Crispy Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps with Melty Mozzarella and Cheddar
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas
2 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge in flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice into strips.
Lay the tortillas flat and sprinkle with a little shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese in the center.
Place chicken strips on top of the cheese, then add a little more mozzarella and cheddar on top of the chicken.
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly into a wrap.
Brush each wrap with melted butter and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the wraps are golden and crispy.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes:
You can swap the chicken for crispy tofu strips for a vegetarian version.
For extra flavor, add a drizzle of ranch or marinara sauce inside the wrap before rolling.
