
Ingredients
1 large head of Green Cabbage
1 lb (450 g) ground Beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup cooked White Rice
1 egg
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Sauce
2 cups Tomato Sauce
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Prepare the cabbage
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully remove leaves from the cabbage and boil them for 2–3 minutes until soft.
Make the filling
In a bowl mix:
ground beef
onion
garlic
cooked rice
egg
salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley.
Fill the cabbage
Place about 2–3 tablespoons of the meat mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf and fold it into a small bundle.
Arrange in baking dish
Place the cabbage rolls in a baking dish.
Make the sauce
Mix tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Pour over the cabbage rolls.
Bake
Cover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45–55 minutes until the meat is fully cooked.
Optional Topping
Sprinkle chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
