- 4 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet), thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika (optional for color)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
🔥 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
- Prepare the potatoes:
- Wash and slice potatoes evenly (about ¼ inch thick).
- Pat them dry with a towel to remove excess moisture.
- Season:
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil (or butter), garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
- Add the potato slices and toss well to coat evenly.
- Arrange:
- Lay the slices slightly overlapping in a circular or straight pattern on the baking sheet (as shown in the picture).
- Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
- Bake:
- Roast for 35–45 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden and crispy on the edges.
- Finish:
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley and a bit more Parmesan before serving.
