Pineapple Pecan Cheese Ball

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, divided
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until smooth and combined.
  2. Add the drained crushed pineapple, chopped green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir to blend all ingredients evenly.
  3. Fold in half of the chopped pecans, reserving the other half for coating.
  4. Form the mixture into a ball using your hands or a piece of plastic wrap to shape.
  5. Spread the remaining chopped pecans on a plate. Roll the cheese ball in the pecans until fully coated.
  6. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up and let flavors meld.
  7. Serve chilled with crackers or fresh vegetable slices.
