Phyllo Rolls with Ground Beef
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
10-12 sheets phyllo dough
2 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a pan, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned and cooked through. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool.
Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface, brush with olive oil, and layer another sheet on top. Repeat until you have 3-4 layers.
Place a spoonful of the beef mixture along one edge of the dough, then roll it up tightly into a cylinder.
Brush the top of each roll with olive oil or egg wash and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crispy. Serve hot and enjoy your phyllo rolls with ground beef!
