🥔 Ingredients:

For the Mashed Potatoes:

  • 2 lbs potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet), peeled and chopped
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup milk (or cream)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Ground Beef Gravy:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme (to taste)

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Make the Mashed Potatoes:

  • Boil the chopped potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15-20 minutes).
  • Drain and return to pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust consistency with more milk if needed.

2. Make the Beef Gravy:

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Add chopped onion (if using) and cook until soft.
  • Sprinkle flour over the beef and stir well for about 1 minute.
  • Slowly pour in beef broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.
  • Simmer until thickened (5–7 minutes), stirring occasionally.

3. Assemble:

  • Serve a generous scoop of mashed potatoes in a bowl
