Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter and melted butter until smooth and well combined.
- Add the powdered sugar and crushed graham crackers. Stir until the mixture forms a thick dough.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Shape the dough into small rectangular bars and place them on the sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until smooth and fully melted.
- Using a fork, dip each peanut butter bar into the melted chocolate, making sure itβs evenly coated. Let any excess chocolate drip off before placing the bar back on the parchment paper.
- Drizzle extra melted chocolate on top for decoration, if desired.
- Chill the bars in the refrigerator for 20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
- Serve chilled or let them come to room temperature before enjoying.
