Ingredients:

  • Sliced white sandwich bread (Pain de mie)
  • Goat cheese
  • Butter
  • Bacon bits (Lardons)
  • Crème fraîche
  • 1 egg
  • Milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Grated Gruyère cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon bits until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the crème fraîche, egg, milk, salt, and pepper.

  10. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.
