Garlic Butter Lobster Tails Recipe

First time I ever made homemade lobster, I was convinced I would miss everything. Turns out, all you need is garlic butter, a hot oven, and a bit of assurance: this is now my go-to for an effortless, elegant dinner!

Ingredients :

For the lobster:

  • 4 Lobster Tails
  • 4 tablespoons of soft melted butter
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preparing the lobster:
  • Preheat the oven to 230 °C (450 °F). Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the lobster shell lengthwise, stopping at the tail. Gently remove the flesh and place it on the shell. 2. Preparation of garlic butter:
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper and lemon juice.
  1. Cooking Lobster:
  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and sprinkle them generously with garlic butter. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the lobster is opaque and tender.
  1. Finish and service:
  • Remove from oven and rub in butter. Top with chopped parsley and serve with extra lemon wedges.
