Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs (about 700g) chicken tenders (or chicken breasts cut into strips)
3 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning (or a mix of oregano, thyme, basil)
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Season the chicken:
In a bowl, mix chicken tenders with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and toss well to coat.
- Cook the chicken:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add 1 tablespoon of butter and sear the chicken tenders for about 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Make the garlic butter sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.
Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add lemon juice and a pinch of herbs.
- Combine:
Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
Cook for another minute so the chicken absorbs all the flavor.
- Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
Serve warm with lemon wedges.
Serving Ideas:
Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, rice, or a fresh salad.
For a lighter option, serve in lettuce wraps or over cauliflower rice.
