Ingredients:
2 cups cooked shredded chicken breast
1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into 4 equal rectangles.
Spoon the chicken Alfredo filling onto one side of each rectangle, leaving space around the edges.
Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket and crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
Brush each calzone with the beaten egg to achieve a golden finish.
Place 2 calzones at a time in the air fryer basket (depending on size) and cook for 8–10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
