Cheesy Smoked Sausage

Ingredients:

1 lb smoked sausage, sliced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup milk

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

 

Directions:

Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet, cook the sliced smoked sausage over medium heat until browned and heated through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Cheese Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low. Add the cream cheese and milk, stirring until smooth and creamy.

Add the Seasonings: Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for a couple of minutes.

Combine the Sausage and Cheese: Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and mix it into the creamy cheese sauce. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and well combined.

Serve: Once the cheese is fully melted and the sausage is coated in the creamy sauce, remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
