Cabbage Fritters
A delicious and healthy snack or side dish!
Ingredients:
1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
2 eggs
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Olive oil for frying
Instructions:
Prepare the cabbage: Shred the cabbage into thin strips.
Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Fry the fritters: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of the cabbage mixture into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
Drain: Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve: Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, sour cream, or aioli.
Tips:
For a crispier fritter, press down on the cabbage mixture with a spatula while frying.
You can add other vegetables to the mixture, such as carrots, zucchini, or bell peppers.
Serve the fritters as a side dish or as a main course with a side of salad or soup.
