Baked Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole with Layers of Cheese and Meat Sauce

Ingredients:

1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with chopped onion until fully browned. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Drain excess grease.

Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

In a medium bowl, mix ricotta cheese and sour cream until smooth.

In the prepared baking dish, layer half of the frozen ravioli, half of the ricotta mixture, half of the meat sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella.

Repeat layers with remaining ravioli, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
