
Ingredients:
200 g (7 oz) Brie cheese, cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes
1/2 cup (60 g) finely chopped almonds
1/3 cup (40 g) all-purpose flour
1 large egg, beaten
1 tbsp (15 ml) milk
Pinch of salt and pepper
1/3 cup (80 ml) raspberry preserves or jam
1 tbsp (15 ml) honey
1 tsp (5 ml) lemon juice
Fresh thyme or mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In three shallow bowls, place flour in one, beaten egg mixed with milk in another, and chopped almonds in the third
Lightly season Brie cubes with salt and pepper, then coat each cube in flour, dip in egg wash, and roll in almonds until fully covered
Place coated Brie bites on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden and slightly melted inside
In a small saucepan, warm raspberry preserves, honey, and lemon juice over low heat until smooth and glossy
Drizzle the warm raspberry honey glaze over the baked Brie bites and garnish with thyme or mint if desired
Serve immediately for a decadent sweet-savory appetizer
