Air Fryer Spicy Crispy Chicken Thighs

Ingredients:

4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp dried oregano or thyme

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

Prep the chicken:

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.

Rub olive oil all over the chicken.

Make the spice mix:

In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder (or cayenne), black pepper, salt, and oregano/thyme.

Rub the spice mix evenly over the chicken thighs, coating thoroughly.

Preheat air fryer:

Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Cook the chicken:

Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket.

Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken to skin-side up.

Cook for an additional 10-12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.

Serve:

Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.

Serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top
