📝 Ingredients
3 cups desiccated coconut
2 large eggs
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1–2 tbsp milk (only if needed)
Powdered sugar (optional, for coating)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk eggs + sugar + vanilla until slightly creamy.
Add coconut, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
If the mixture feels dry, add milk little by little until soft but not sticky.
Shape into small flat discs or balls.
(Optional) Lightly coat with powdered sugar.
Place on tray and bake for 12–15 minutes, until lightly golden on top.
Let cool before serving — they firm up as they cool.
🌟 Tips
Don’t overbake → they should stay soft inside
You can add lemon zest or orange blossom water for Moroccan flavor
Store in an airtight box up to 5 days
