
Ingredients (2–3 servings)
4 flour tortillas (or flatbread)
2 cups shredded cheese
(cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix – mozzarella gives that stretch!)
1–2 tbsp butter or olive oil
Optional add-ins:
Cooked chicken or beef
Turkey slices
Onions, bell peppers
A pinch of salt or garlic powder
Instructions
Heat the pan
Place a non-stick pan or skillet over medium heat.
Butter the tortilla
Lightly butter one side of a tortilla and place it butter-side down in the pan.
Add cheese
Sprinkle a generous layer of cheese over the tortilla.
Add any optional fillings if you like.
Cover & cook
Place another tortilla on top (butter the top one if you want extra crisp).
Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden.
Flip carefully
Flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is fully melted.
Slice & serve
Remove from heat, let rest 1 minute, then cut into triangles.
Serving ideas
Serve with ketchup, spicy sauce, salsa, or garlic sauce
