Ingredients:
- Crust:
- 24 Oreo cookies (crushed into fine crumbs)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Ice Cream Layer:
- 1.5 quarts (about 6 cups) vanilla ice cream (or any flavor you like), slightly softened
- Chocolate Ganache Topping:
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
- Make the Crust:
- Crush Oreos into fine crumbs (use a food processor or put them in a bag and crush with a rolling pin).
- Mix crumbs with melted butter until combined.
- Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan. Place in freezer to firm up while preparing the ice cream layer.
- Ice Cream Layer:
- Let the ice cream soften just enough so you can spread it.
- Spread an even layer of softened ice cream over the Oreo crust.
- Smooth the top with a spatula.
