✔️Ingredients:

4 lbs russet potatoes, peeled
1 1/4 cups hot milk (use whole milk for best results)
16 Tbsp unsalted butter (2 sticks), softened
1 1/2 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
1 Tbsp fresh parsley or chives, finely chopped (optional, for garnish)
✔️Instructions:

Peel and rinse the potatoes under cold water, removing any blemishes or knots. Cut large potatoes in half to ensure even cooking.
Place the potatoes in a large pot, cover them with cold water, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and cook partially covered for 20-25 minutes until fork-tender. Avoid overcooking.
Drain the potatoes thoroughly and transfer them to a mixing bowl. Lightly mash them with a potato masher to break them up.
Attach a whisk to your stand mixer and mix on low speed for about 30 seconds. Slowly increase to medium speed while gradually adding 1 to 1 1/4 cups of hot milk, until smooth.
With the mixer running, add softened butter 1 tablespoon at a time, allowing it to blend before adding more. Continue mixing until the potatoes reach a fluffy, creamy consistency.
Season with 1 1/2 tsp salt, adjusting to taste if needed.
Garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired, and serve immediately.
