✅ Flavorful Slow Cooker Beef Brisket
Low Effort – High Reward!

▶️ Ingredients:

4–5 pounds beef brisket, trimmed of excess fat

2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 large onion, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

▶️ Instructions:

1. Prepare the brisket:
In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Rub this spice mixture evenly over the entire brisket.

2. Sear the brisket:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the brisket on both sides for 3–4 minutes until browned. This step adds rich flavor.

3. Assemble in the slow cooker:
Place sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker. Lay the seared brisket on top.

4. Add the broth:
Pour the beef broth around (not over) the brisket to keep the rub intact.

5. Slow cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender.

6. Finish and serve:
Remove the brisket and let it rest for 10 minutes. Slice against the grain or shred. Spoon some of the cooking juices over the top before serving.

🍽️ Serving suggestions:

Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, rice, or inside sandwiches. Leftovers are amazing!
