🍏 Mini Caramel Apple Pie Cups Recipe

Ingredients:

For the crust:
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust (or homemade, if preferred)
For the filling:
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the crumble topping:
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cold butter, cubed
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Topping:
  • Whipped cream
  • Caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin pan.

2. Prepare the crusts:

Roll out the pie dough and use a round cutter (about 3 inches) to cut out circles. Press each circle into a mini muffin tin to form little crust cups.

3. Make the filling:

In a bowl, mix the diced apples with lemon juice, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, flour, and vanilla. Toss until well coated.

4. Spoon in the filling:

Fill each pie crust cup with the apple mixture, slightly mounding it.

5. Make the crumble topping:

Combine flour and brown sugar. Cut
