Delicious Angel Beef Casserole
A hearty and comforting casserole made with lean ground beef, creamy ingredients, and topped with crispy tater tots—perfect for family dinners!
Ingredients:
2 lbs (900 g) lean ground beef
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
1 can (10.5 oz / 298 g) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup (120 ml) beef broth
1/4 cup (60 g) melted butter
1 packet (1 oz / 28 g) Italian dressing mix
7 cups (about 32 oz / 900 g) frozen tater tots
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
3. Mix the Sauce: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, melted butter, and the Italian dressing mix. Stir until smooth and well blended.
4. Combine with Beef: Add the cooked ground beef to the creamy mixture and stir to combine evenly.
5. Assemble the Casserole: Spread the beef mixture evenly into a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking dish. Arrange the frozen tater tots on top in a single layer, covering the entire surface.
6. Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy, and the filling is bubbly.
