Creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor—these stuffed shells taste like a million bucks and make the perfect comfort meal for family dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients:
- 1 box jumbo pasta shells (about 20–25 shells)
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the jumbo shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and let them cool slightly.
2. Make the filling:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta, cottage cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, cheddar, egg, sour cream, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until fully combined.
3. Assemble the dish:
Pour 1 cup of Alfredo sauce into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly. Stuff each shell with the chicken-cheese mixture and place them in the dish over the sauce.
4. Add the remaining sauce:
Once all the shells are arranged in the dish, pour the remaining 1 cup of Alfredo sauce over the top. If desired, sprinkle with extra mozzarella or Parmesan for added cheesiness.
5. Bake:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 10–15 more minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Serve:
Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot. Enjoy every creamy, cheesy bite!
