Homemade Potato Fritters: A Deliciously Easy Treat π₯β¨
Ingredients:
- 500 g potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 100 g flour
- 1 onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel and prep the potatoes: Cut the potatoes into chunks and boil them in salted water until soft. Drain well, then mash them.
- Cook the onion: Finely chop the onion and sautΓ© it in a pan until golden brown.
- Mix the batter: In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, sautΓ©ed onion, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Add chopped fresh parsley if you like.
- Shape and fry: Heat oil in a large frying pan. Form small balls or patties from the mixture and fry them in hot oil.
- Golden and crispy: Cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
