🍵 Ginger, Lemon & Honey Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium-sized lemon (preferably organic)
  • 1-2 inches of fresh ginger root
  • 1–2 tablespoons of raw honey
  • 2 cups of water

🧑‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Peel and slice the ginger thinly.
  2. In a saucepan, boil the ginger in 2 cups of water for about 10–15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Squeeze in the juice of one lemon.
  5. Add 1–2 tablespoons of raw honey and stir well.
  6. Strain and serve warm.

🕒 How to Use:

  • Drink 1–2 cups daily, especially in the morning or before bed.
  • For chronic cough or congestion, drink warm (not hot) for better soothing effect.

Optional Additions:

  • A pinch of cayenne pepper (for extra mucus-clearing power)
  • Turmeric (anti-inflammatory)
