Easy Homemade Cheesy Pizza Pockets

These cheesy pizza pockets are a fun and tasty twist on classic pizza—perfect for a quick snack, lunchbox treat, or casual dinner!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or your favorite toppings)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven
    Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Dough
    Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into equal-sized rectangles.
  3. Add the Fillings
    On one half of each rectangle, spoon a bit of pizza sauce, then top with shredded cheese and your desired toppings.
  4. Seal the Pockets
    Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges together with a fork to seal.
  5. Brush and Season
    Place the pockets on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  6. Bake
    Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Cool and Serve
