Crispy Garlic Parmesan Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 4–5 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet), thinly sliced
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
- Fresh or dried parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). - Prepare Potatoes:
Wash and thinly slice the potatoes (about 1/8 inch thick). You can leave the skin on for extra crispness and nutrition. - Seasoning:
In a bowl, mix olive oil (or melted butter), minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss the potato slices in the mixture to coat evenly. - Arrange:
In a greased or parchment-lined baking dish (a round or oven-safe skillet works beautifully), arrange the slices upright in a circular pattern as shown in the image. - Bake:
Bake for 45–60 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden, crispy on the edges, and tender in the center. Halfway through, you can brush with more oil or butter if desired. - Finish:
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top during the last 10 minutes of baking. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
