Grilled Balsamic Steak Caprese
Juicy, perfectly grilled steak slices drizzled with rich balsamic glaze, served alongside blistered cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella balls, and fresh basil—this fresh take on a Caprese is summer on a platter!
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs steak (ribeye, NY strip, or flank), grilled to preferred doneness
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 cup mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
1/4 cup balsamic glaze
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh basil, chopped
Directions
Grill Steak: Season steak with salt and pepper. Grill over medium-high heat until desired doneness. Rest 10 mins, then slice thinly.
Blister Tomatoes: In a skillet with olive oil, lightly blister cherry tomatoes until soft and slightly charred.
Assemble Platter: On a large platter, arrange steak slices in the center. Surround with tomatoes and mozzarella.
Finish: Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with fresh basil. Serve warm or at room temp.
