Easy Homemade Cheesy Pizza Pockets
These cheesy pizza pockets are a fun and tasty twist on classic pizza—perfect for a quick snack, lunchbox treat, or casual dinner!
Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or your favorite toppings)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). - Prepare the Dough
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into equal-sized rectangles. - Add the Fillings
On one half of each rectangle, spoon a bit of pizza sauce, then top with shredded cheese and your desired toppings. - Seal the Pockets
Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges together with a fork to seal. - Brush and Season
Place the pockets on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. - Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. - Cool and Serve
